About the city

  Turkey’s capital and the second most populous city of Ankara is a modern European metropolis adorned with the remains of various civilizations in history. The old fortresses and ruins of the Hittite, Phrygian, Hellenic, Roman, Byzantine and Ottoman civilizations were decorated all over the city.
